Celebration on board · Búzios

Birthday at sea

The client wanted a surprise birthday party at sea for his wife — and, when booking, asked to be surprised too. The sunset got a menu and a show.

The story

The booking held two surprises: one for his wife, who knew nothing, and one for the host himself, who chose not to know what would be served.

Avocado halves filled with salmon, finished by hand on board
Ceviche served in a coconut, on ice, on board, with the sea behind
Lobster with potatoes and thyme on a turquoise ceramic plate
Stuffed lemons on coarse salt, on a turquoise ceramic plate
Papaya served with yoghurt and red berries on a dark slate
Chef Vitor Jover serving sparkling wine to the guests seated at the bow
A birthday cake being decorated by hand, on board

The answer was something unexpected on board: a menu and a saxophone show timed for sunset, with a service designed for the space of the boat and for the exact hour of the light.

On board: the service, the cake, the saxophonist and the guest of honour.

Intention

To create a private celebration, on the move, able to surprise even the person who ordered it.

Translation

A menu, service in courses and a saxophone show timed to the moment of sunset.

Dining experiences on board

The table can also be at sea. Vitor has led a range of experiences on boats, creating the menu, the rhythm and the service for each boat, occasion and group.
